I did add another ESXi host to our vcenter, but I am not backing up any machines residing on it. Theres only one test virtual machine residing on the new ESXi host and I have no backup jobs defined for it. I only want to backup machines on my first 3 hosts, so whats up with the licencing?

Hi KJSTech,

Likely you have added the new host into the vSphere cluster, which means that licenses of Acronis vmProtect will be required for backing up _any_ VM from this cluster even if it doesn't belong to the new host. If you are not planning to back up any VMs from this new host, then it makes sense to exclude it from vSphere cluster - in this case there will be no additional licenses required.

Thank you.

Hi KJS, did taking out this host from the cluster worked for you? I'm still trying to duplicate this on my end too.
