VSPHERE - Deleted Hosts and Clusters still showed

Thread needs solution

hi there,

running a backup appliance for vsphere.

We modified our vsphere cluster, moved nodes, added nodes, removed cluster, added cluster.

The backup appliance is connected to VCSA and shows all new hosts + clusters - but unfortunately, it does not delete/"forget" the removed hosts and clusters.

How can we force the appliance to only show (and use/ackup/serve) current vsphere setup and not the deleted?

Any ideas?

Thank you

Cheers

Martin

Hello Martin,

Welcome to Acronis forums!

If the backup appliance did not correctly receive new information from VCSA, we recommend re-deploying it. Please delete it from the list of Agents in the Management Console and deploy a new appliance that will receive all new settings from VCSA.

If the problem still persists, please open a case with Acronis Support Team.

Hello Maria

Thank you so much for your answer.

Just another question: If solution is to deploy a new appliance - what is about all the existing backup plans and further config? everything has to be redone?

Thank you

Cheers
