Backup and cleanup is done twice at a time.
Hello,
OS : Windows Server 2016
Acronis Version : 12.5
When they run a backup on their device or after the backup the old backup is deleted according to the retention policy, it is always created and deleted twice.
When I checked the schedule, they did not make the schedule twice or duplicated.
Below is the schedule they set for the device.
- WHAT TO BACK UP: Disks / volumes
- ITEMS TO BACK UP: Disk1, Disk2
- WHERE TO BACK UP: Network path. (Backup dedicated server)
- SCHEDULE: Custom> Full backup - Wednesday at 07:00 PM
- HOW LING TO KEEP: 4 backups (After backup) < (Previously it was 3 backups, but I changed it to 4 backups to retain 3 backups.)
- Other option: Default setting.
Add image is backup file list.
This is a problem that occurs on every Windows OS device they manage.
Agents installed on Linux are normally backed up and cleaned up.
If you need to review the Acronis system information of the device, please give me the FTP link. I can send it.
Thank you.

Hello Maria.
Sorry. I am not good at English so I think what I want is not delivered to you.
There is only one backup schedule I set.
SCHEDULE: Custom> Full backup - Wednesday at 07:00 PM
But when I look at the image I attached, there are two files on the same date.
I did not copy and paste one file. It was created automatically when you ran the backup once.
I did not set any capacity limit or split in backup options. (The backup option is the default option.)
However, as shown in the figure, two files are created in one operation.
What's the problem with this?
Thank you.

Hello Lemoning.
Could you please export this backup plan and share it here? Please also add a screenshot of these backups from Management Console (Backups -> select a respective backup location, select this backup archive and click on Show backups).

Hello Lemoning.
Thanks for providing additional details.
I do not see any issues there.
But when I look at the image I attached, there are two files on the same date.
I did not copy and paste one file. It was created automatically when you ran the backup once.
This image is taken from Windows Explorer which shows last modified date. The last modified date will be updated each time when a new .tibx file is created. This is because the software reads and modifies the metadata of the previously created full backup when creating a new one. Thus, these are not duplicated files but backup files of the same backup archive chain (according to your backup plan there should up to 4 full .tibx backup files in a chain), where the first file has a unique name (e.g. allbaro-76B9CD56...4BEFA.tibx) and all subsequent files of this chain contain the respective number (..4BEFA-001.tibx, ..4BEFA-002.tibx, etc.).
