Backup successfully but no content in .tibx
Hello everyone,
I ran into a confused issue on a VM backup here and looking for some advise.
I created a backup image for one of the VMs running on my Cluster. The backup plan reported as "completed successfully" but inside the activity log file it complained there's a bad sector on the disk. I tried to recover Files/Folders instead of the Entire machine, there's no item found in the backup. The .tibx file size is reasonable but when I expanded the file, there's no item inside the .tibx file either. However, I am able to recover the Entire machine. The recovered machine is bootable but there are also errors inside the active log file related to bad sectors. I ran couple of times the Windows error check tool but no error is found on the disk. It confused me. Does the disk actually have error? Why there's no item found inside the backup but .tibx shows about 300 GB?
I uploaded the activity log files from the backup process and the recover process for more details.
I am running Acronis Backup 12.5, ESXi 6.5, Windows Server 2016.
