Replication failed. There is not enough free space!!
Hi,
I have strange situation. We tray to replicate backup over not so fast link (MPLS) to second branch office but always get error "Replication failed. There is not enough free space". Problem is strange becouse on the other side is NAS storage with lot of free space.
Somebode have same situation.
It is acronis backup 12.5. NAS location is regulary add to AMS and its used also to backup client on second branch location.

thanks for posting on Acronis forums!
Please clarify where the original backup is stored.
If it is stored on ASN (managed storage node), then please collect Acronis system report from a machine with this node. Otherwise, please collect Acronis system report from an Agent which backups are replicated.
I have sent you an FTP link where you could upload this system report in a private message.

Thanks for your support.
The backup is store on NAS device. We create some replication backup plan to replicate one critical server backup to second location on weekly schedule task. We got error as its described.
In Plans I use agent who is on management server, it was some windows server virtual machine if it is meter.
I will send you on FTP requested log. You will find also replication plan export.

sorry for the delayed reply. Please notify me here or in a Private Message the next time when you upload system information.
This system information is from a machine with AMS. However, as I described in my previous post, we need this report to be collected either from a machine which backup is being replicated onto NAS or from a machine with the ASN vault if it's first backup location added to the vault.

I really don’t know what I was put on FTP anymore. But, don’t understand your request. Why you need "from a machine which backup is being replicated"?
Look I was backup some machine via some backup plan to location on NAS. OK?
Than I use option in AMS, Backup replication. In that option I create Backup replication plan. OK?
In that Plan you need to put agent (what ever you like, OK?). Than, select what Items you want to replicate and where you want to replicate, OK? One more thing How to replicate, Full backup. Schedule, NO. Retention, whatever.
In that scenario how is involved machine which backup is replicated???
Please someone to give me basic process algorithm of Backup replication.

In that Plan you need to put agent (what ever you like, OK?)
We need Acronis System Information that has been collected from a machine with this Agent.
A replication plan is performed by any Acronis Agent that has access to the source and target location. Thus, we need the report to be collected from a machine which you selected as Agent when created this Replication plan.

Thanks for your prompt response.
Yes, I put exactly that sysinfo of PC with agent use to do replication. And you can see it on FTP you provide to me. You also can see that I put export of replication plan where you see name of machine-agent use!!!
Maybe I am still missing something?

Hello mmilis.
I have reviewed again your system information: it was definitely collected from the machine with Acronis Management Server (AMS) but not from Agent. There are no replication logs:
I suggest that you contact Acronis Support Team and request a remote session where engineers could properly collect the system information from the Agent and analyze replication logs there.

Yes It is AMS but also agent machine!
Interesting, how many problems i find with this product. Very disappointing.
If you definitely can’t find logs about replication than i will do it again and send it.

Please, can you look on FTP folder New, export of replication plan?
On weekend I was make this plan and start replication on other network storage device. Ok, I got different error, very strange and disappointing. After 9+ hours give me the error.
Is it late to give you now sys log from AMS=Agent machine?
For previous error I need to wait for weekend to start agan replication.

Hello mmilis,
thank for uploading the report. I have analyzed replication log files.
The error message "data is corrupted: CRC mismatch" indicates hardware problems.
The reported behavior is caused by compatibility issues between certain NAS model, its file system and archive format selected in backup plan. Meanwhile, you can create new backups with the legacy-compatible backup format (called format 11 in backup options.) to have it working.

Hi Maria,
I am sorry, I didn't respond to your last message. I have opened a ticket with support and we move to version 11. Unfortunately, there are still some errors but I must say that there is some improvement in the number of good back-ups. But, my disappoint of Acronis backup 12.5 is rising every day.
