Backup v15u3 - Onpremis no internet possible -management server offline for x days
I have ACRONIS Backup Advanced onpremise installation
I installed the Update3 with perpetual licenses
Now I made an upgrade to current version Server version: 15.0.28122
The Server are not allowed going to internet!
Every logon the server is showing the message:
"This management server has been offline for 14 days. Fix the Internet connection issue and ensure that your license is up to date."
I open a ticket allready 05205875 but I have to send all log files.
Are there someone who has got the same messages. I am sure it is know problem. Taking log files nedd a lot of time.

Hello Peter,
thank you a lot.
The system is part of an critical enviroment. Therefore it is not allowed to have got internet!
If ACRONIS needs Internet connection right now (ACRONIS v.12.5 did not need it) >> ACRONIS is the wrong product anymore.
I am quite sure, the message appears if the development are testing their Management System without Internet.
Some customer prohibits my to send log files.
kind regards
Uwe

There is no reason you cannot have your agents on a disconnected subnet that can only reach AMS and the storage they are sending backups to. We have critical equipment setup the same way.
I don't think you can expect much useful help if you can't send them logs. Maybe you can send the log package to your customer for auditing and/or redacting sensitive info?

Hey there,
I think there is an option in the Licensing section of the management server where you can generate a file that you then use in the management cloud to create an activation file.
Did you already try this ?
Here the link to the online documentation:
Activating a management server
And there is a section "To register an offline management server"

And in addition the ams is also disconnected from Internet. Decission by customer!

Hi SvenT,
yes thank you for your repsonse. I registred the backup server by file already.
This was one of my first task. After this I can use the licences.
The ACRONIS Server is still working.
The message worries me - I am wondering if it will stop further.

Hey Uwe,
It would worry me either.
Either it is ony for information and all works fine or your MMS "thinks" that it is licensed online and stops working after a specific period (I think 30 days) ?
Maybe this can be clarified by anyone here ?
For that question no supporter needs any logs....

Hello Uwe,
thank you for posting this forum thread on Acronis forums!
Sorry for the late response.
Your client should re-register all Agents on the new AMS that is registered as offline now - it is a new instance now. The messages will disappear after this.
