Agent cannot register: unsupported elliptic curve

Dear All,

I try to install the Acronis Cyber Protect 15 in my office computers. But some of the machines cannot register the agent on local machine. I already disabled windows firewall and uninstall all the antivirus. The same error still occur. Following is the error reported by the register_agent and the steps I tried before:

Register Command:
"C:\Program Files\Acronis\RegisterAgentTool\register_agent.exe" -s mms -o register -a localhost:9877 --raw

Error:

Tried: (firewall disabled and uninstall all antivirus)
1, Use cleanup utility, then reinstall => 99% hang
2, Cleanup again, then
   - install server only => OK
   - install agent, wait long time => Install complete but can't connect to server
   - can access localhost:9877 but no agent regietered
3, Manual regester agent => fail
4, Insert the cert to trust cert => still not work
5, install agent on other network machine, can register to the server in problem machine
6, install server on other network machine, use problem machine agent register to the server => fail, same error

How do I fix?

Most probably this issue is related to TLS configuration.

We recommend that you collect Acronis System Information from the affected Agent and open a case with Acronis Support Team for this issue investigation.
