Uninstall cyber protect agent

Thread needs solution

Hi,

how can I completely uninstall the Cyber Protect Agent?

On normal uninstall it remains under programs and features. And there also remain many files and registry entries and some running services

I tried the solutions in the Knowledgebase without success.

Hello!

Please check the following KB: https://kb.acronis.com/content/56424

Run the script and everything ( including the registry keys ) should be removed.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, this does not work.
The script runs in under a second without any message (Unrestricted, as Administrator).

Also the registry key from the KB does not exist.

The whole thing was an installation of the cloud solution from IONOS. Using programs and features it was regularly uninstalled, but there are as said still entry, program directory and the services there.

Hello!

What product are you using? Because this thread in the forum is for Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud ( Service providers) and not for consumers.

Are you using Acronis Cyber Protect Home office? If yes, then it's a different procedure so please check : https://kb.acronis.com/content/48668

Thanks!

If the solutions suggested above didn't worked you should contact their support because this requires an investigation. You could also check this https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-manually-remove-progra…

You could also try to reboot the machine and after that try again all the solutions provided above.

Thanks.
