How to write .tib disk image to disk
Hello,
I have a .tib file that contains a full image of a windows nt disk. I would like to burn this image onto a new disk. I tried different things but I mostly get the file moved onto the disk. How do I do this?
Kind regards Carl

Carl, welcome to these public User Forums.
Do you really mean the image is of a Windows NT OS disk? i.e. from around the time of Windows 95 / 98 / ME / 2000 era?
If this is correct then it would have most likely have been created by a very old version of Acronis True Image, assuming it was made many years ago!
.TIB files are compressed archives that can only be restored by using a compatible version of the same application that created it. See the link in my signature for details of compatibility between image files and Acronis versions.

Hello,
It worked but was a bit confusing. In backups I chose the tib file then I go to recovery and submenu DISKS and then I have to chose the disk inside the tib file and then the destination disk. I feel that it is made more complicated then other programs where you only chose file and destination. It was windows nt which is still widely used in old industrial machines.
1. Be in backup tab
2. Chose .TIB file
3. Go to Recovery and submeny Disks
4.checkbox the disk
5. Pic drive to recover to
6. press recover now
7. Pick the option that is NOT "non system disk"
Kind regards Carl RH
