Acronis 2021 Build 39287

Thread needs solution

Last Backup date to NAS is overwritten when you make a new backup. After new Backup to NAS there are two Backups with the same date. This is not when you make Backup to local disk.

Othmar, welcome to these public User Forums.

What type of backup are you making and what backup scheme?

If you are making a disk backup using incremental slices, then Acronis consolidates the incremental slice within the same file as the initial Full backup and so will be give the date of when the most recent backup was created.

It's a custom scheme "Fullbackup" with not more than 1+5 new versions, In this build 39287 it is not possible to store more than one backup without overwriting the old one. If you want more "Fullbackups" for storing, you must use custom scheme. The funny thing is, when you store to a local disk, everthing is OK - no overwriting date !! Also I do not know what is overwritten, only the date or something inside the backup file ?

Thank you Steve

Hello Othmar,

I didn't find any documented issues with a similar description in our internal sources, so would try running a repair installation as a first step.
