Backup notification emails missing; some arriving 2 weeks late
Hi,
I'm using Acronis True Image Home 2021 (all updated to the most recent version) all logged into my acronis online account. I was receiving daily notification emails for successful and unsuccessful daily scheduled backups (from
noreply-abc@cloud.acronis.com), but the emails suddenly stropped about mid May. I tried going into the settings in my online account and in the app, but nothing seemed wrong.
Then today all of a sudden, I started to received emails about successful and unsuccessful backups from around the 21st May and after. The emails have been coming in randomly all day, and don't cover the entire period, but random days.
Any ideas what is going on?

That is interesting Steve; I am not seeing this. Maybe because for me this is done on a different server - there are advantages and disadvantages to living in Australia.

I too have been receiving multiple such mail today, some of them duplicated!
Seems to be a bit hit and miss at the moment - I started to receive a couple of them as expected, then this morning they've stopped again... I'm really thinking of giving up and heading to another solution such as macrium reflect.

I have never relied on the Acronis global notifications and still don't. My per task email notifications have worked just fine all the way through with the only change being that I changed from using Gmail for these a year or more back, and now use another free email service from mail.co.uk The only time these haven't come has been when I have had an internet issue with my broadband at home around the time they were intended to be sent from the app, but that is very rare.
Note: I use the same email servers with my Macrium tasks with equal reliability. (I run both Acronis & Macrium on my main systems).

Thanks for the tip - I'll look into setting up a per-task email; seems like a bit more effort, and a shame that its needed as well as the global notification system Acronis have in addition!
