Thread needs solution

Simple question, I hope.  I am receiving warnings about reaching my backup size limit for Cloud backups, however from looking at the list of backups in the 'clean up backup versions' drop-down, I am only at half of my subscription limit.  I can file a support ticket but was hoping to see if anyone else had this problem.  However, it appears there is an issue with the search index on the forum - I do not get any results after trying various search terms about backup size.  Please see screen print attached.

Any suggestions?

Bob, I typically will use Google to search the forums rather than the search option in the forums themselves.

site:forum.acronis.com 'cloud backup size limit'

The above will bring up many pages of hits from the search engine.

Going back to your reason for this topic, how many backups do you have going to the Acronis Cloud, and what settings are you using on the Advanced page of Options, i.e. how many versions to keep, for what period etc?

What do you see if you look at the Acronis online dashboard for your Cloud backup status?  Access this via the Account panel in the GUI.

Just this morning I was trying to search the forums and found that there seems to never be any search results. I suspect a forum issue there. I just posted this to the forum admin forum.

Thank you Steve.  I see from Bruno's comment there may be a problem with the forum indexing.  I could not get it to show results for anything and cannot figure out the sort options.  In any case, I will use the Google search method you recommended.  Thanks.

I do backup to a local disk drive nightly, and do a backup to the Cloud weekly.  Regarding the Cloud backup size issue, I store a maximum of 20 versions, with a purge date of six months.  These are full-system backups, done once a week.  A typical Cloud backup is about 8 GB and the activity log usually shows about 2 GB of space freed up.

When I drill-down on the list of backups in the Cloud, it shows the 20 backups, but there is no size shown.  In the desktop app, if I click on the drop-down for "Clean up versions" for the Cloud backup, it shows the 20 backups and the size.  In my case, these total 140 GB.  However, on the Account tab in the Cloud dashboard, it shows 244 GB.  My subscription is for 250 GB, which has always been enough space.

I know I can reduce the number of backups, but I do not understand the size discrepancy.
