Change Partition Number

I am just wandering why did Acronis not include the ability to change the Primary partition number. Currently I use program called Part.exe created by Ranish at http://www.ranish.com/part/. It is a DOS based program. The only problem with it is that the repartitioning part is so old and outdated that that portion is not to be used. I only use the Partition number changing and setting bootable partition flag using this Part.exe program.

Sometimes this feature is needed:

On a USB memory stick, you can create multiple partition (up to the maximum of 4) using DD but only partition 1 will be visible from Windows. The partition 1 does not have to be physically the first partition in order to be seen in Windows, only the partition number is significant.

There are other situation where this feature is needed.
