changed disk partition with Acronis but not registered in Windows Explorer

I changed my disk partition C/D from 80/850 GB to 120/810 GB with Acronis disk director by changing first D-drive from 850 to 810 GB and then increasing C-drive from 80 to 120 GB.
The change of D-drive was registered in Windows Explorer but not the increase of C-drive,
there are still 80 GB, but there is no drive space "not allocated" left. So now 40 GB are missing!
What can I do to fix this problem?
