After installing the latest rounds of Microsoft updates on Windows XP SP3, it takes Disk Director 11 build 2343 several minutes to display the pending operations in the pop-up window. With just one operation to delete a hidden partition, it took well over a minute. With three operations (to delete, copy into, and hide this parition), I gave up after 10 minutes.

In response to a suggestion from MBAM support, I ran CHKDSK and defr3eagged the C volume. In the interim I also applied some system and AV (Bitdefender) updates. I don't know which fixed the problem but it seems to be OK now.
