Deleting BOOTWIZ folder after uninstall in Vist x64
I uninstalled DD but I can not seem to delete the BOOTWIZ folder from my NTFS partition. Allo attempts tell me that "You need permission to perform this action" even though I have Administrator rights or even when I log in as the Administrator.
How can I delete this folder under Vista x64 ?
You could try booting into Windows Safe Mode and deleting the folder. You could also check the permissions for the folder and make sure they're set correctly. If they're not, give yourself full permissions and try again.
Even when I give my group Full Control, and when I boot into Safe Mode, I still get the message "You need permission to perform this action" when I try to delete the BOOTWIZ folder.

One I was able tio Take Ownership of the folder I was able to delete it.
