Is the MMS service actually running?

To get to the MMS service, hit the Win + r button and then type in services.msc

After making sure it is running, you might need to alter the 'log on as'. This was something I had to do.

It will have defaulted to the local system account.

Alter it to your account details as shown in the attached snip, only if it still won't run using the default account.

It is also possible that there is a registry setting corrupted as your error message talks about rebooting.

If the above fails, then I would attempt a repair install of DD11.

Colin,

Is MMS from DD Advanced? I also don't see that in a normal DD 11 Home installation.

---

yty yyx,

I think I would try resinstalling DD.

Mudcrab,

You might be right, I had both betas installed at one time, and thought as they both 'attach' to local host they both used MMS.

But, what is the MMS bundle referred to in the error log in the OP's post, I wonder?

Colin,

The mmsBundle.dll file is in the DD folder. I don't know if the error refers to it or to a call that failed.

---

Is it possible that there's something else installed that's blocking Acronis being able to properly setup the reboot? Maybe anti-virus software or something like that?

The problem I have found . When I open the "OSSelectorSetup.exe",Then the error appear.

What type of drives are you using?

It may help if you posted screenshots of what Disk Management shows and what DD shows.

I assume the drive type for Disk 0 is actually Basic (as shown in Disk Management). Is that correct? Or is "GPT" hiding somewhere in those characters?

DD is reporting it as Basic GPT. I don't think OSS will work with GPT drives. Also, if it's really Basic MBR and DD is having a problem seeing it correctly it could explain why the reboot agent can't function.

Does DD give you the option to convert the drive to Basic MBR? I'm not saying to use the option, just asking if it's there.

Do you have a current backup of the drive?

There's another thread where DD was detecting a drive as a Super Floppy so it's possible that the detection method may not be working correctly.

Thanks, MudCrab, I really do not know how I can thank you enough.
Considering your idea , I began to use another way and success.
First,I transfer the file in volume H to other hard disk
Second, delete volume and find it merge into an organic whole with the
unallocated disk(24GB)
Third and the last ,resize the volume F to the maximum capacity by DD (fast and only 10 seconds) and success.
In conclusion,I gain my ends but not know the reason.
