Non-Continuous Space on Hard Drive

Welcome to our Forum, it's nice to have you with us. Thank you for taking time to open the thread regarding this questions, I will be glad to address it.

It's surely possible if the unallocated space is on the same physical drive with the C: partition.

One way of doing it is to perform the following actions in Acronis Disk Director: 

1. Right Click on the D: drive -> Resize partition -> Increase the partition size by using the unallocated space
2. Right Click on the D: drive -> Resize partition -> Decrease the partition size to the original one (70 Gb), leaving the unallocated space between the C: and D: drive
3. Right Click on the C: drive -> Resize partition -> Increase the partition size by using the unallocated space
4. Press Commit Pending operations -> Continue

No changes are made to the drive until you commit pending operations.

Please note that we strongly recommend to: 

1. Check the drives for consistency before resizing
   Start -> Run -> cmd -> chkdsk /f /r and reboot the machine
   Upon booting Windows will check the hard drive and file system for errors and fix them if any
2. Backup the drive before resizing
3. Perform the resizing from the Acronis Disk Director bootable media
   (can be created within the product (Tools -> Acronis Bootable Media Builder) or by downloading the ISO from your account and burning it onto the CD)

In case you haven't purchased the Acronis Disk Director 11 for Servers yet, you may test it, but please note that the demo version has certain limitations (generally: it won't allow to commit any operations on the partitions which size is bigger than 100 Mb).
