Not reading hard drives

I just purchased a new 3TB WD red drive to add to my HP microserver, I formatted it as a dynamic drive however when I changed the drive letter in acronis from 'E' to 'M' and then restarted as instructed it now no longer is displayed in the 'my computer' How can I at least get my data back off it before I attempt at formating it again?
