Partitions on my SSD

Thread needs solution

And in particular, can I remove more of them? Win 8.1, Dell XPS11.

My system came with 5 partitions and I guess that is probably standard. I have removed two of them 'winretools' and 'diags' and expanded the 'OS' partition into the reclaimed space.

This leaves me with 'esp' and 'OS' - PLUS a 500MB partition (which I think contained Dell stuff before I formatted it) at the beginning of the SSD.

It LOOKS like I can't move the 'esp' partition to the beginning of the SSD and so reclaim this 'vacant' 500MB - at least not with ADD. Is that correct?

Hello Chris,

the remained partitions cannot be removed because system gets unbootable without them. For more information you can contact your hardware vendor support.

As for unallocated space I'd recommend to create a new partition on that place.

Thank you.
