How to completely uninstall Recovery for MS Exchange?

Thread needs solution

How can I be certain all ( or at least as many as possible) traces of Recovery for MS Exchange have been removed from my server?
I have previously used the Acronis cleanup utility to remove the Backup and Recovery agent from some of my other machines however I can find no equivalent for the Exchange product.
I have performed a standard uninstall from the control panel but can still see traces in the registry and file system of the product.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello Chris Nolan,

Thank you for posting this question in our forum. I am happy to assist you.

If using a 64bit operating system, you can use this Microsoft FixIt to remove remaining parts of the program. This can cleanup the Windows registry.

On Windows 32bit systems, please delete following registry keys, if exist:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acronis

Then Unregistering Acronis Scheduler Service.

Delete the following folders:

  • \Program Files\Acronis
  • \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis
  • \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis

Reboot Machine.

If there is anything else I can do for you, please let me know.

Thank you.
