Hello Anton, I'm having a very similiar error when using ASR, need your help. OS is Windows Server 2008 Enterprise R2, SQL 2005 SP3:

What should I do?

Hello Gerald,

Thank you for your post. I will definitely help you with this issue.

Most likely this issue is caused by the backup information not updating properly. I would recommend to re-create the full backup and I am confident this issue will be resolved.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Hello Anton,

I have had to recreate the full backup over and over again but yet after 1 backup I continue to get this error. It also loses connection to the local database. I have put in the pre/post commands the net stop and net start of SQL SERVER but this isn't helping either. Any suggestions?

Dear Davis.

Thank you for your comment and for finding time to report about the issue, I will be glad to assist you.

In case you have tried all these steps, and the issue remained, we will need to take a closer look at the issue. Could you please gather the below information:

  1. AcronisInfo from the Agent machine
  2. Exact sequence of steps performed
  3. Screenshot of the issue
  4. Please check whether a database can be backed up successfully by means of MS SQL native utilities.

In most cases, you can create a backup by native MS SQL utilities in the following way:

  5. Open SQL Management Studio;
  6. Right-click on the database that you want to back up and select Tasks -> Backup

See also the following MSDN articles:

After that please submit a case with the information attached, and let us know it's number.

Thank you!

Hello Yana,

I have learned that if I break up the full backups to hold only 250 databases at a time they will run properly. It would seem that you have a limit of databases per backup.

Thank you.

Hello Davis!

Thank you for finding time to share this information with us, I appreciate it.

I've checked with the Development team: this is possible, but we haven't tested it. We would appreciate if you could provide us with some additional information:

  1. Size of the databases
  2. Naming
  3. Logs

Please send me the message when you're ready to provide us with this data, I will create an FTP account for you for uploading the data.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

I am having the same problem: Member invoke failed (0xE000B) token = ".Apply", $module = "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\DatabaseBackup\Fomatik\DataWalker.dll"

But I only have about 10 databases which are about 50GB in total size. It works if I recreate the task but I don't think I can buy this product if I have to recreate the task every day.
