Acronis Snap Deploy 3.0 with Universal Deploy
I have a single image captured from a Dell Optiplex 760 and need to deploy it to 2 models - Optiplex 760 and 755. While 760 to 760 is not an issue, i am facing issues with pushing this image to 755 with Universal deploy.
All my drivers of Dell 755 (Network, Display, Chipset, Audio) are located on the OS deploy server. I have the .sys and .inf formats for all of them. The Universal deploy does not pick up any driver. I am sure of the path provided in the Universal deploy. On multiple attempts, I am able to get one driver to work, but not all of them. (on putting the .inf and .sys files manually on the PC everything works just fine).
I also tried running the driver executables using the "Run Applications" after image deploy. I gave all 4 executables (example - ChipsetSetup.exe, LanSetup.exe, AudioSetup.exe and DisplaySetup.exe) in files to transfer and execute with the /s option. Only one executable works (whereas all of them work, when run manually).
Is this a right use of ASD, Universal deploy & File Transfer-Execute ? Has someone got this working ?

Hi, Alexander.
I, also, am having the same problem. Am I to understand that all other system drivers (audio, video, network, etc.) are to be installed manually after the deployment? If that is the case, that is fine. I have spent the last 8 business days trying to get a response from Acronis on this issue
I understood (from the documentation) that the drivers were to be loaded into a single folder on the ASD Server. In the template, you can then select the location for drivers to be installed. ASD would then select the appropriate driver to install on the individual system at the end of deployment.
Thanks.

Hello David,
First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay in response and inconvenience you experienced to get an answer from the support. That's good that you posted here, I will do my best to handle this case without a delay.
If you feel that our answers are delayed for some reason - please send me a PM with the link to this thread, so I can return to it as soon as I can.
Yes, all drivers for your hardware should be installed after deployment. They are Plug and Play drivers so you should configure them manually.
Also, you can configure the driver repository, it's a driver storage to search for HAL and storage device drivers during the automatic search-and-install procedure. You can add network locations and enable a search of removable media for drivers. But this is related to HAL level drivers only, not Plug and Play ones.
Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.
