Creating Master Images for Snap Deploy 4 Questions

Need some help.

Currently my company owns Snap Deploy Workstation and Server editions with universal deploy. What im looking to find out is if im doing this the correct way.

I build machine x which say is a Dell Optiplex 330 put all the proper company software and windows updates onto it leave it off the domain. Then I put in the Acronis Snap Deploy Boot disc and create a "master image" that gets sent over the network to a folder on the Acronis Snap Deploy Server. Then I take that image and create a template for it and deploy it to existing Dell Optiplex 330's that need a fresh build. I've been doing it this way for a long time and want to know if this is the correct way to do so. I cant think of any other way to create master images.

Please advise?
