Deploying Dell image to a Lenovo laptop and Universal Deploy

I haven't been able to try this out yest because the new machine hasn't come in yet so I will ask the question first.

I have an image from a Dell Optiplex D780 that I would like to deploy to a Lenovo ThinkPad E560. The thing I am thinking of that may not work is this, What if at somepoint I need to reformat the machine to the factory image that lenovo puts on all machines as the recovery partition? Will that just not be there anymore after I use the Dell Optiplex image and Universal Deploy?

Hello, Michael

All partitions, including the Recovery partition, will be removed from the HDD of Lenovo while deploying the image from Dell. So, I would suggest you to create a master image of the Lenovo first. After that, you may deploy the image from Dell. When you need to reformat the Lenovo machine to the factory image, just deploy the image from Lenovo (without Acronis Universal Deploy).
