Mapped Drive error & Connection to domain client problem.

Thread needs solution

Hi.

I created a PE image that I use for a WinPE-Based Acronis Bootable Media. In that image, I mapped some drives that I need when creating my master image.

My problem comes whenever I start using the Master Image Creator. I can see my drives mapped but I get the following message : "an error occurred while reconnecting the connection has not been restored"

If I manualy map the drives, the problem still occur.

However, if I try to reach the folder by typing the adress in file selection bar, I'll be able to use the mapped drives that were previously unsuable.

Any ideas ?

Regarding my other problem : After entering the name of the computer, from wich I want to create my Master Image, and my credentiels, Snap Deploy crashes.

Thanks.

UPDATE : Still no solutions for mapping network shares..

My second problem is now down to this :

Whenever I want to connect my management console to a client in my domain, the console crashes. If I try the same operation in a WORKGROUP, I have no problem and I can easily connect and create my master image.

Any ideas on that issue ?

Hello Loris,

We don't recommend using mapped drives so accessing network drivers via UNC path is a right way.

Concerning the second problem you've faced, can you please specify the build which you are using?

Thank you.
