MBR Error 1

Hi all,

I am currently trying out the trial version of Snap Deploy 4. I have made a master image from a HP Probook 4535s running XP SP3 and am deploying that image to the same make/model laptop.

The deployment is succesful but on booting the 'cloned' laptop I get 'MBR Error 1'

Any ideas?

by way of an update, I have run fixmbr, fixboot and bootcfg /rebuild. After doing this the laptop doesn't even get past the bios before it reboots in a loop.

Any ideas on this? I'm considering purchasing Snap Deploy for our organisation having already used many other Acronis business products (which I think are excellent by the way).

Any help/guidance is greatly appreciated.
