Snap Deploy Management Console slow to display machines
Hello,
Snap Deploy 5.0.1,416 running on a 2008R2 server with plenty of CPU/bandwidth/RAM etc available. In the management console, the list of machines builds very very slowly. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Just upgraded to Snap Deploy 5 last week and noticed this issue. Snap Deploy 4 never had a delay displaying these things. For that matter, the console seems a bit sluggish in general when compared to the SD4 console, but the machines list is extremely slow. It takes about 3-4 minutes to display the entire list with the machines appearing 1-2 at a time.
Thanks
-Derek

Funny that I got a recent reply. I was just coming back to ask if there was any update, or if anybody else was seeing this issue. I had the opportunity to reboot our server last week and it's still doing this. about 2 minutes to begin displaying any machines, and another minute or two to finish populating the list. The entire list is only about 70 machines long...
(and really, I only care about finding the current machine I'm going to deploy to)

I have seen the same issue. At that time increased the Database.the cause of list slow.I think the Database became a problem. There are the Database to Acronis Folder(in the Program Data Folder). How about you?I contacted to the Support.I haven't gotten a reply.

I ended up uninstalling and moving the installation to a different machine. The machine list fills in quickly.
One thing I noticed - I did an 'upgrade' install, the instructions say to uninstall SD4 and then install SD5. I wonder if the issue is because of leftover SD4 information that isn't compatible. On a different machine the list fills in quickly.

In our case the machine acting as the Snap Deploy server was also our primary Windows file server, Windows 2008R2. That's the only other thing it was doing besides Snap Deploy. Plenty of horsepower and bandwidth to handle the occasional machine deployment. I moved it to a much older spare desktop system running Windows 7 (32-bit) and it's performing good enough to use for deployments with our occasional use. The other day I tried deploying to 3 machines at one time and it worked surprisingly well.
Because the other system is our main file server, I decided to not try reinstalling and troubleshooting, I just needed to keep that server 'clear' for it's main purpose.

Thank you.
Your server do not seem to have problem. Acronis may have a problem?
The problem is difficult to be resolve. Do not know the cause.
I haven't gotten a reply from acronis support as yet.
