Using standalone to deploy windows 10 image does not work

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I am using 5.0.1,656 to do an image and deploy to another laptop of the same model , both are Lenovo laptops I created the master image fine without error then I used the standalone boot disk to deply the image which is on a external drive, I am abale to see the *.tib file fine and everything seems to be going smooth, but during deployment it shows 50 minutes plus remaining but finishes within 5 minutes and states image has been deployed without error after boot the system starts in windows repair mode and stays like that, so I do not see the image as actually being deployed.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

The laptop is an Lenovo T540p and going to another T540p image was created using uefi and gpt, I am not sure if this maybe causing the issue.

I also noticed during deplyment the status shows recovering mbr then the message pops up stating that Deplyment has been completed, the original image is using UEFI with GPT.

Hello,

Is the target machine also UEFI? You tried to deploy an image of the UEFI machine to another UEFI machine, right?

Best regards.

Hello,

Yes the target machine is UEFI as well, the hardware setup is exactly the same on both systems.

You can try to recreate the Master image with all volumes (including the System Reserved volume). Before doing that, check disk using the native disk check tool.

If it does not help, I suggest you to contact our Support team. Some technical information is needed and logs should be analized.

Best regards.
