Acronis Cleanse

Thread needs solution

I presume the Acronis Drive Cleanser is the equivalent of the old Format a Drive?

I have 3 internal drives (C:, E: & F:) and 1 external G: drive on one of my systems.

I don't understand how to select the Drive I want cleansed = formatted?

In this case I wish to Format ONLY the G: external Drive leaving the others as they are!

In other words, do I get the X symbol to appear on the Drive I want Formatted/cleansed and leave no X on the others I do NOT want to Format/Cleanse?

So as I only want to Cleanse/Format G:\ , must the X appear on it and NOT the others, before I go ahead?

Thanks

The Acronis Drive Cleanser is to wipe all data on a drive or partition. It is the equivalent of secure erase by overwriting with various patterns. It is not the same as to format a drive. It is a specific tool to remove all data previously stored on a partition.

Thanks for that!

So when I want to use it ' how do I select ' the drive portion I want to Cleanse?

Does the X on the drive mean it is to be cleansed or left alone?

Thanks

Ok I've found it in the Help Files!
