Cant use file manager to drill into backup file anymore?

Thread needs solution

After creating a new Full backup when i double-click on the archive on my backup drive (in windows explorer/file manager) a window pops up with a title bar "Locate the volume with number '1'."  But there was only one new Full backup file.  Acronis has never done this before.  I performed another backup (a differential backup) and it does the same thing, but then after the first request- it then asks for "Please locate the last volume of the backup."

I used to be able to bring up file manager and drill into my acronis backups to make sure that I could bring up a few files to test that I really could restore data.  Now I am worried that my backups are failing somehow...

Anyone know what is going on here?

THanks!

try deleting all the files in C:\Users\[your_username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database
