copy data from acronis to PC
My operating system was corrupted. I have a new operating system (windows 10). I am out of the country with my backed up acronis but without my CD to re install my acronis program. I had to get a new password on line and downloaded the acronis program.
I don't know how to transfer my ENTIRE PC files to my computer. Can I un-zip them to click and drag files or what? I'm not sure I have loaded the acronis program.

Paul, if you have a fresh OS install and only want to recover data from your existing backups (not restore the entire PC with apps, settings, etc), you can install Acronis and once installed, you can double click on a backup .tib file and simply copy and paste files/folders out of the backup. You can't do this for the OS and applications because the necessary registry keys and/or services wouldn't get restored this way, but if you just need to get data files (documents, favorites, music, movies, etc), then this is an easy way to restore that type of data. Alternatively, once you have Acronis installed, you can also right click on a backup .tib file and "mount" it as a drive letter and it will behave more like a mounted disk so that copy and paste from it will be faster.
