Disk Cleanup Utility Doesn't Work from SSD

Thread needs solution

I just installed Acronis True Image 2016 on my Windows 10 machine, and I already had an issue with Clone Disk just rebooting into windows and not cloning anything. I solved that by booting from Acronis rescue CD and using the Clone Disk utility from there, which worked just fine,

Now I'm running into the same issue when I try to clean a SSD that's attached to my PC via USB. The utility opens fine, I select the disk I want to clean and the options, etc. then click "Proceed". I get a prompt that I need to restart my machine to continue, but when I do it just boots into Windows again, no cleaning done.

Do I need to use a rescue CD for all of the tools in Acronis now? Is this a Windows 10 issue?

Hello!
This is definitely not normal. Both disk cloning and DriveCleanser should work when started from Windows.
Does your machine use UEFI or BIOS? Was this a new installation of True Image or an upgrade?
It would be really helpful if you could create a System Report. Let me know if you can do that and I will send you instructions on how to upload it.

My machine uses UEFI, and this was a new installation of Acronis. I created a system report and saved it, do I just attach it to this message like so?
