Does Acronis True Image produce any kind of report after completing a cloning operation?

Thread needs solution

Does anyone know how to get a report of what happened during a cloning operation?

I believe my clone procedures have been successful however I can find no way to tell what issues (if any) arose during the cloning process.

Since I'm relying on the clone for future purposes, it's important to know if there were any problems, even if the operation appears to be complete.

I think the same question applies to earlier versions of Acronis True Image.

Thank you,

Jake

Hello, Jake

If you perform cloning in Windows (as opposed to Bootable Media) try this: after the cloning operation finishes go to %ProgramData%\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Logs and sort by "Date modified". Open the latest log file whose name starts with "service_*" (e.g. service_2015-09-28-20-04-35.log) Most likely, this will be the log that contains information about the cloning operation.

If the cloning operation requires a reboot (e.g. when cloning the system disk) the log will only contains entries up to that point.
In this case you can use the Bootable Media. That way you will be able to inspect the logs after cloning is finished.
