[DUPLICATE]First Restore - A few questions

I just completed my first restore and have a few questions.

- I first tried to restore from TI within Windows Desktop but it said a restart was needed. After a restart nothing would happen.
- So next I tried to restore from reboot loading TI from CD and then recovery from a flash drive.

Everything appeared to go well with the restore taking 5 minutes.

Q1 - On the first boot the computer took 1 minute to start but it normally takes 10 seconds. Using Hybrid drive. However, after the first boot the computer would start in 10 seconds and now everything appears normal.

No big deal but is the first slow boot normal?

Also, it appears I've lost some of my previous Chrome settings. Is this normal?
