Expected compression level
I did an Entire PC back up using the full Acronis Image. a value of 730 GB was shown at the start of the backup. When the backup was completed, a value of 872 GB was shown. However, the backup file in my external drive was checked, with a value of 148.9 GB. Recognizing there is compression involved, are the above figures look resonable (i.e changing from 730 GB to 148.9 GB)? (FYI: The compression level was set at Normal)
My question: Is my Acronis s/w working correctly (even though it did the backup with no error message)?
Albert.

"Entire PC" is designed to backup all internal SATA drives, but lists the size of all attached disks. I would advise not using "entire pc" but, instead using the "disks and partions" backup and selecting the entire disk of just the disk you want to backup (selecting all paritions). This will ensure that backup only reports on that particular drive and may help avoid confusion with the backup size.

My query is now answered and problem RESOLVED by using "disks and partitions". Thanks to both Bobbo_3C0X1 and Steve Smith for your valuable comments and suggestion.
