LoadLibrary failed with error 998: Invalid access to memory location
I have Windows 10 and Acronis True Image 2016 worked before I formatted and reloaded Windows 10. I have reinstalled all my other software and drivers with no problems. The Acronis installation goes smothly until I am prompted to launch the program then I get an error box LoadLibrary failed with error 998: Invalid access to memory location. After clicking OK the program doesn't open. The error is there at every boot and if I try to open the program. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times. I am using build 6027. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have the exact same issue as Tom Fisher, although I do not know him personally. Do you want me to gather a Process Monitor trace and generate a System Report, as I am willing to investigate?

Sorry it took so long to respond. Just wanted to let you know that I tried reinstalling the software today to troubleshoot and it installed correctly. Same downloaded installer as before. I'll let you know if I have trouble after a reboot, but I think everything is ok now.

Did you get rid of the error message, or does the error still persist?
Sorry to say, but Process Monitor does not work either on my computer (another error message pops up: Unable to load Process Monitor device driver), so I am therefore unable to gather a Process Monitor trace and generate a System Report, like Dmitry Nazarov wanted you to do initially.
Could you please do it in stead?

When I tried reloading the software I didn't get any errors. The installation went through just like it was supposed to so it wouldn't help to run a Process Monitor report, because there isn't a problem on my machine anymore. Try running Process Monitor as an Administrator. Otherwise it sounds like your Windows installation is in trouble (I've run those programs on 100's of computers and Systernals programs don't usually have errors). You could try Windows Repair by tweaking.com.
