New to Acronis
2 questions:
I noted that when doing a full PC back up of my C & D drives, PC Backup (which I presume backs up C and D) will give one number as to the size of the backup and when I choose each drive individually using another method, it gives me a different figure. What is the difference?
And I understand that the Media Rescue Disk has to be redone each time there is an update of Acronis True Image 2016. Can I just overwrite everything, or must I delete the flash drive first?
Thanks!

Hello AKoslow,
If you select the entire PC - all connected external and internal drives will be put into the image, so the size may differ from the size of C: and D: selected separately.
Yes, it's better to have a bootable media of the latest build, as it will contain updated drivers. However if the current bootable media works well with your hardware, there is no need to recreate it. In case of emergency you can download the latest .iso under your account. You can format the drive in advance.
Ben Wai, yes you can create a separate backup plan and switch to the file view -just click on the backup source. And you can select Nonstop in the backup schedule for this backup. However I would not recommend this backup type for protection of the entire drive. It would be better to create full and incremental backups instead (e.g. a full backup and six incremental backups per week).
I would also recommend to take a look at the following resources:
