Slow Backup to NAS (temporarily) cured by reboot
I'm currently running True Image 2016 on a Windows 7 box. Frequently I've noticed very slow transfer of a backup to a NAS box associated wity slow screen response. During those times TaskManager>Networking displays a transfer rate ~.6% of a nominal maximum link speed of 1Gbps. After a reboot the process (I have several hard drives and 7 backup programs scheduled to run at different times) the various programs run at 60% (100 times faster!!) for a while and then revert to a slow speed.
What is causing this and what can I do to stop whatever is recurrently slowing my backup speed by 2 orders of magnitude?

Thanks Enchantech...
Currently post re-boot network TaskManager>Network utilization is 60-75% and CPU utilization is 20-30% with no desktop response interference. I'll take a another look when it slows. The fact the system works fine now suggests I have it set up properly. I'm just not sure what makes it slow by 2 orders of magnitude.

Again it is very hard to say. Keep digging and hopefully you will find the answer.
