True Image does not install on a Crucial SSD
Bought 3-user True Image license and it installed okay on my C: drive (WD SATA) in preparation for a new reinstall of Windows 7 onto a new Crucial MX100 256GB SSD. True Image Installation onto the old WD SATA went off without a hitch, as did the backup that was then made of the drive.
Then added the new Crucial SSD (Drive C: system disk) to the computer and installed fresh copy of Windows 7.
Then installed True Image 2016 onto the Crucial SSD (Drive C: system disk), but when the signin box came up at the end of the installation, and was filled in, the signin appears to be attempting to signin, but it just hangs.
When I go to the Acronis web site and sign in with the same User ID and password, I get signed in with no problems (here I am signed in under those same credentials and writing this post!).
I've had no luck searching on the forums and the Goog for a fix for this, so if anyone has any idea why my signin would hang at that point in the installation process, please let me know.
Thanks,
John
I'll keep posting until Acronis responds. There is a 3000 seat license at stake.

You might wish to try a repair install on the machine. To do so navigate to Windows Add/Remove Programs, select Acronis True Image and choose Uninstall. This will produce a menu which you will find the repair option in.

FYI, with Windows 10, I installed Acronis TI2016 on two different machines onto the C: drive, and it runs without problems. One has a single Crucial SSD 128GB drive as its C: drive; the other has a pair of 500GB Crucial SSD's in RAID 0 configuration. So I doubt your problem is related solely to your SSD's

Hi mcserdwar,
you might want to consider contacting our support team to get the problem troubleshoot: http://www.acronis.com/support/contact-us.html
If you prefer continue discussion in forum, please post an illustrating screenshot and clarify if you able to skip "sing in" step. This helps us to understand if it is actually a program hang or sign-in problem.
Thank you,
