TrueImage 2016 Boot Media without Disc Director?

Thread needs solution

Both software is installed on my Windows PC - TrueImage 2016 and DiscDirector 12. Just before upgrading TI2015 to TI2016 the boot media have been build including both TI and DD. Now after upgrade to TI2016 only Ti is on the boot media.
How to get both again on the boot media? I do not like to have two different disks, each for another package.
best regards

Hi Nico,
I'll clarify if creating a bootable with multiple products is supported in Acronis True Image 2016.
In the meanwhile, can you please provide more information on your steps? Which bootable media builder do you use to create the bootable media?
Thank you,

I too have the same problem; when creating rescue media, in the previous versions, the TI would show me the DD as option to be added to the Rescue media. Now with TI 2016 (I am using the free trial to test it) only the TI 2016 is shown.

Also, for some reason, I do not see the Compression tab in my Options even that my destination is local. According to the info in my TI 2016, this tab swill not be there only when backing up to cloud. So why it is not showing up when backing up locally?

Hi Anna,
thanks for your reply.
I downloaded the Addon Tools for TI2016 from the web site and installed it on my PC (Win8.1 Pro 64 bit). Running the media builder I had no choice to make a bootable medium that includes both TI AND DD as it was just with the media builder coming winth TI 2015. The MB for 2016 did not show any possibility to manage options for the boot media.
best regards,
Nico

Hi,
Having the same problem I too would like to see Anna's answer to Nico's questions.
I was just wondering why it should take more than 3 days to answer such a simple question...
Kind regards,
Jacob

Hello Everyone,
it is designed program behavior at the moment.
Since Acronis Disk Director 12 hasn't been updated for quite a long time, it has older Linux components, which cannot be used by Acronis True Image bootable media builder.
In future situation might change but mostly it depends on Acronis Disk Director updates/upgrades.

Thank you,
Anna
