Yes, with the following possible limitations. *New features of Acronis True Image 2016 (like Family Dashboard or Archiving) have not been tested on Windows XP SP3 32-bit and might not work correctly, although basic functionality fully supports this operating system. Windows XP 64-bit is not supported.

Apart from that you should really consider to get over to Windows 10. I was able to get some legit Pro OEM Licenses for just 50 bucks.

When I am bored I do install old OSes from time to time like Win 3.11, 98 and XP to be aware about the mass of limitations and issues they will bring in modern environments. And even though XP was great it starts to get very problematic with apps and hardware. No just because support has been dropped. Windows 10 has actually lower space (about 25-30 GB) and RAM (I recommend at least 1 GB for a 32 bit OS and 2 for a 64bit OS) requirements than Windows 7 and 8.1 so it is really worth a try even on older hardware.

The OS version obfuscation introduced with Win 10 helps to ease compatibility with older apps that run at least in 32 bit and even 64 bit.
