How to get a single backup from two computers

Thread needs solution

I have a pair of external drives (in my case S: and T: - and they are set in Windows 10 to always come up as S & T) . S: has the data, the T is the backup.  I use this pair of external drives on two computers (a desktop & laptop).  I make changes to files nearly daily however changes are only made on one of the computers (Desktop if home, laptop if traveling).

Is there a way to get a single backup TIBX that either computer can update/use?  As S: fills up, T: while bigger ,won't have enough space for two backups.

Ideas?

The references you sent seem to be about recovery.

What I would like to do is backup my S: external drive to my T: external drive.  I've got that working and I can do a restore if necessary.  The issue is that when I run the same backup settings on my Laptop version of TI a 2nd tibx is created.  What I want to do is when the laptop runs the backup it just adds the next incremental backup.  Logically there is no reason this shouldn't work because the changes are really just incremental.

Is this possible with Acronis 19.  I've been an Acronis user for more than a decade and would really hope this can be done.  Thanks

Patrick, sorry but what you are wanting to do is simply not possible in any version of ATI.

Each PC stores information / metadata about the tasks that it runs and this is not interchangeable with a task from a different PC regardless of having the same Source, Destination and task settings.
