Boot WinPE (after boot Command line does not work)

Thread needs solution

Hi

After creating the WinPE bootable media and starting PC with it. The black window that is behind Acronis True Image does not work.

https://kb.acronis.com/system/files/content/2017/06/59877/59877_winpe_r…

I can not type anything (no command), the ATI window works normally, I can use the keyboard normally. This problem has occurred since the last few versions
Bootable media (ISO) created from installed ATI. I also tried to create a bootable pendrive directly from the ATI, but also the situation has not changed.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Windows ADK installed correctly
Windows 8.1

This problem has existed for some time. It is very annoying. You will need to close the TI window to make the command line usable. After you are done using the command line, you can re-enter the command to start the TI window.

Please use the MVP Tool to create the WinPE media. You will not have this problem.

Thank you for your quick response. The last version of ATI in which the command line works correctly is version 9850. It is a shame that the problem is known and the company does nothing about it. I will pay for the update when they fix the problem.

The MVP tool works correctly but the company should take care of customers and not the community.

The problem still exists in the latest version of ATI 2019. Do Acronis developers not read comments from the forum?

Hello Ozzy,

currently this behavior cannot be changed, which is a limitation of implementing the auto-collection of crash dumps in the bootable media. As workaround you can close the UI of Acronis True Image and start it again, a CMD window should appear after restart.
