Öffnen von .tib-Dateien
Hallo Gemeinde,
immer wieder habe ich Probleme mit diesen tib-Dateien. Jetzt habe ich ein Problem mit dem Öffen. Es handelt sich um eine ältere Sichererungskopie, die auf der Bachupseite von Acronis 2018 nicht mehr erscheint, weil ich Sie mal entfernt habe. Wenn ich diese Datei mit Doppelklick öffnen will, erscheint die in der angehängten Datei abgebildete Nachricht. Wenn ich "öffnen mit" klicke, erscheint zur Auswahlmöglichkeit nicht Acronis. Unter "Eigenschaften" wird meine Einstellung "Vollzugriffg jeder" angegeben. Wie komme ich an die gesicherten Dateien? Übrigens Aronis war geöffnet.

danke für den Vorschlag. Ich hatte zunächst im Windows-Explorr mit der rechten Maustaste auf die Datei geklickt und Acronis/validieren gewählt. Im Taskmanager konnte ich sehr deutliche Aktivität (Computerleistung) erkennen, was darauf hinwies, dass die Validierung lief. Auf der Acronis-Console konnte ich nichts erkennen. Dann habe ich Deinen Vorschlag versucht auszugeführen. Das heißt, ich versuchte die Datei wieder auf die Konsole zurückzubringen. Da erschien eine Fehlermeldung (siehe Anhang). Zur Klarstellung:
1. Die Datei ist eine von Acronis erzeugte Sicherungsdatei eines Backups.
2. Ich habe die Dateibezeichnung geändert, ohne die Dateiendung .tib zu ändern.
3. Ich lasse immer automatisch eine Sicherungsdatei und eine Validierung machen.

Error message translation:
Adding the backup to the backup list failed. The backup may be locked or damaged. Also make sure that the folder contains the last volume of the backup and not a renamed copy of the same backup.
1. The file is a backup backup file created by Acronis.
2. I changed the file name without changing the file extension .tib.
Looking at the error message and your comments above, it looks like you are trying to add a renamed backup file to the ATI GUI task list and you probably still have a task in the list using the original name before you renamed the file thus giving this error.
Check what backup name is shown when you double-click on the .tib file in Explorer?

ich hatte die tib-Datei im Explorer geändert und der Originalname ist verloren. In der ATI GUI kann ich keine tib-Datei öffnen. Das kann man doch nur im Explorer, oder? Auf der ATI-Seite erscheinen nur die beiden Laufwerke auf denen einerseits die Versionsketten und andererseits die Sicherungskopien gespeichert sind. Wenn ich mit Doppelklick auf die tib-Datei im Explorer gehe, öffnet sich nur die Meldung, die Sie im Anhang finden. Ich habe kaum noch eine Hoffnung diese alte tib-Datei zu öffnen.

What is the name of the file you are trying to open and what version of ATI was used to create it?
What type of backup file is this? Is it Disks & Partitions backup, or Files & Folders?
Is this the only file for the backup chain, i.e. a full backup image file?

That would be my question too. If the file is a full backup, and not physically corrupted, validation should work and /or it should still be possible to recover from it, even if the name was changed.
However, in order to recover, you must have all versions of the backup chain in the same folder and all must be named appropriately if they were modified.
It is not possible to try and recover an incremental if the original full AND / OR any incrementals in that chain that came before it are missing or not matching the updated name that was manually provided.

Das wäre auch meine Frage. Wenn es sich bei der Datei um eine vollständige Sicherung handelt, die physisch nicht beschädigt ist, sollte die Validierung funktionieren und / oder es sollte weiterhin möglich sein, sie wiederherzustellen, selbst wenn der Name geändert wurde.
Für die Wiederherstellung müssen sich jedoch alle Versionen der Sicherungskette im selben Ordner befinden, und alle müssen einen geeigneten Namen haben, wenn sie geändert wurden.
Es ist nicht möglich, ein Inkremental wiederherzustellen, wenn die ursprünglichen vollständigen UND / ODER Inkrementale in dieser Kette fehlen oder nicht mit dem aktualisierten Namen übereinstimmen, der manuell angegeben wurde.
Es ist fantastisch, wie Ihr versucht, mir zu helfen!!!
ich will noch einmal meine Situation beschreiben und Eure Fragen beantworten:
gemäß der von mir eingegebenen Optionen werden maximal zwei Versionsketten erstellt. Außerdem werden bei jedem Schritt der Versionskette ein volles Reservebackup auf ein zweites physikalisches Laufwerk geschrieben. Um ein solches älteres Reservebackup handelt es sich bei meinem Problem. Die dazugehörigen Originalbackups sind gelöscht worden. Ich will keine Wiederherstellung dieses alten Bachups, sondern nur spezielle bei einem bösen Hardwarecrash verloren gegangene Dateien retten. Alles habe ich noch in analoger Form vorhanden, aber ich möchte mir die große Arbeit der erneuten Digitalisierung und der aufwendigen Dateibenennungen ersparen.
Das eSata-Laufwerk ist ziemlich neu und wird nur während eines Backups eingeschaltet und funktioniert einwandfrei. In der Anlage findet Ihr ein Screenshot der ATI-Seite (Backup-Seite). Ich habe keine Möglichkeit finden können, von ATI aus einzelne Dateien eines Backups auszulesen. Geht das überhaupt?? Im Explorer geht das ja ohne weiteres.
Meine Backups sind solche von Partitionen (zwei). Die ATI-Version ist von 2018 und auf aktuellem Stand.
Ich werde wohl in den sauren Apfel beißen müssen, die große Arbeit der Digitalisierung der historischen, analogen Daten zu machen.

Do you think it motivates them in helping you, when they first have to translate your German desciption into english? Do you think they say: hey, what a challenge! Not only a problem which is not mine, but also in a foreign language! That's double-fun!

Lupo, from the further information you have provided, you have 2 copies of the same backup chain showing in your ATI GUI panel - one of which was created as a 'Reserve copy' of the other, so will always be a Full backup.
As these are also Disk & Partitions backups, then you have several options for recovering files from them.
You can do this via the ATI GUI using the Recovery page options.
You can use Explorer to open the backup archive by double-clicking on it, then use normal Copy & Paste command after selecting the files wanted.
You can use Explore to mount the backup archive to a Windows drive letter by using the right-click menu then selecting Mount from the Acronis True Image option.
