Restore TI 2018 backup settings

Thread solved

Hello, I recently needed to rebuild my hard drive from scratch. I do have recent TI 2018 backups. I will be restoring files and not the full OS. I did not export the TI configuration.

Is there a way to restore the previous TI 2018 settings and backup jobs from my backups?

Thank you

If you have a full disk backup that includes the C:\ProgramData\Acronis folder structure, then you could restore these folders to get back your ATI backup tasks and history etc.

Note: Copy the above folder structure to another location first, then ensure that you have fully stopped all Acronis activity (stop all Acronis Services first, then end all Acronis tasks), then copy the folders / contents to the C:\ProgramData path.

You will probably still need to reselect your Source data for any Disk backup tasks as the disk identifiers / partition identifiers will have changed when doing the clean install.  The same may apply to the backup Destination depending on where this is located.

Thank you for the reply. That worked well. Unfortunately the schedules did not copy but that was easy to re-configure. Everything else imported correctly.

Sorry, forgot about the scheduler data - that is stored somewhere else in the registry or similar, so not held in the ProgramData folders.  Glad the information helped, thanks for the feedback.
