Support for Toshiba/OCZ RD400 NVMe M.2 2280 drive?

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have a full version of ACRONIS true image 2013 which as worked very well until this issue.

I tried to clone my boot/primary drive which is a Toshiba/OCZ RD400 NVMe M.2 2280 drive.  I tried both doing it in Windows 10 and using a boot media CD-R.  Neither worked.

When I tried it from within windows it required a restart.  After the restart, I received the error that some of the removable media drives were not ready.

When I tried it from the bootable media CD-R the drive didn't appear.

Does ACRONIS True Image 2018 support NVMe M.2 drives?

If so that would be a reason to upgrade....

Thanks for your help.

Robert,

The short answer is yes, True Image 2018 supports NVMe M.2 drives.  True Image 2018 also supports live cloning of a system OS drive from within Windows without a reboot required.  If you take this route however it is strongly advised that the target drive used be clean of data prior to running the Clone operation.

Recovery Media built using True Image 2018 will work with these M.2 drives as well however, a Storage Controller driver must be added to the media during the build process to achieve a working solution.
