Unable to edit options on cloud backup

Thread needs solution

I have acronis installed on 2 computers, both running windows 10.  On both of them, when I try to select the "Options" or "Recovery" button on the Acronis backup tab, I get the following error:

 

An error occurred either during connection or on the server.  Check you Internet connection, or try to sign out, restart the program and sign in again.

 My internet connection is good and I can browse the backup set through the web browser.  I have signed out on Acronis, rebooted, and then signed in again with no change to the behaviour.

Before these errors, I had let my Acronis subscription lapse, then resubscribed, and everything was working fine on one of the computers for 2 weeks.  After a 3 week trip, I came back and both computers are exhibiting this behaviour.

If you have a subscription licence for Acronis True Image 2018 then you may want to open a Support Case directly with Acronis for this issue, as it seems that there may be an issue with your account following the subscription being allowed to lapse before being renewed again?

You can try signing out of your Acronis Account using the option shown for your Account name / email on the ATI Account page, then try signing in again.
