Acronis Tech Support says the amount of cloud storage can't be upgraded unless a new license is purchased
I recently purchased Acronis True Image Premium with 1 TB cloud - 1-year subscription. My backup needs have grown and I would like to upgrade my cloud storage to 2TB, but Acronis support says this is not possible.
They say the only way to get 2TB of cloud storage is to purchase another license. I have a cloud backup currently in progress, going on day 3 of 7. The new license won't work on the current cloud backup, so I have to cancel the cloud backup
Is anyone else experience this situation where cloud storage isn't upgradeable?

Roger and Steve, there is another thread somewhere (could by under ATI 2018) where this problem was mentioned. Apparently it is no longer possible to separately upgrade cloud storage. My recollection is that you have to purchase a new subscription with the requisite storage, and when the licence is added to the account, the Acronis server update the current subscription to the required level and extend the period in a pro-rata manner. Roger, I suggest you send a PM to Ekaterina to confirm the position.
Having different expiry dates for ATI licence and cloud storage licence can produce logistical nightmare - I found this out a few months ago. (This was for a cloud backup purchased two years ago.)

Hello Roger,
Additional Cloud storage can be purchased only as a part of upgrade to a higher tier. It's available in the built-in store in Acronis True Image 2019. Please refer to https://kb.acronis.com/content/60165 for more detailed instructions.
