Hi Rodd

This is a user forum and other users cannot assist you. However, the forum moderator Ekaterina may be able to assist you.

Not sure if it will solve the problem but this may also work with ATI: 62404: Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5: How to disable in-product notifications. I have not tried it so try it at your own risk.

Update: I have asked Ekaterina's advice on the use of this technique and would suggest holding off on trying it until she responds.

Hello Rodd,

I've asked my colleagues to exclude your account from the promo campaigns. Please note that in order the exclusions to be applied you need to stay signed in to your account in the product.

Regarding the article, I need to clarify if the same steps are valid for Acronis True Image, will post an update after confirmation from the marketing team.

Merry Christmas and best wishes for a Happy New Year!

Can you please do the same magic for me? Very annoying!

Hello,

Could you please exclude my account as well? Those pop-ups are very annoying.

Thank you!

Hello!

You can stop the pop-ups clicking at the top right corner on the exit button.

Thanks in advance!

HEY!!!!  I'm trying to work here.  This is MY desktop.  Not Acronis' billboard!!  The frequent popup solicitations to purchase more Acronis products are invasive and annoying.

As you're aware the advert asks if I wish to "buy" or "decide later".  Well, I've "decided" and the answer is "NO".  How do I turn this annoyance off?

Yes, I did read the community forums and wasted my time there trying to find a solution.  And yes, I did try closing the popup by clicking the top right corner as a forum moderator suggested above.  That does not work.

Please fix this.

Hello!

This thread is old, and the option to remove you from the advertisements no longer exists.

We have temporary offers, and users of the legacy product will receive them. You can disable them temporarily by exiting, but once you restart the machine, they will reappear.

We have informed the team about the inconvenience of this. Hopefully, in the future, there will be changes.

Thanks in advance!

If you are signed in to your Acronis Account on the Account page of your Acronis GUI and the software was activated with a license serial number, then try signing out along with stopping the Acronis Managed Machine Mini background service and setting it to Manual for the Automatic start option in the services control panel.  This should stop you getting the pop up adverts as Acronis won't be communicating back to base!
